Common questions

Why did my drive not save?

A drive may not save if it was too short, did not have enough credible route data, looked like walking or transit, or could not finish uploading. The app should show a plain-language reason when a drive is not saved.

Why is my route not shown?

DriveQuality only shows route replay when the backend has enough trustworthy route evidence. If the route is still building, limited, or unavailable, the app should explain why instead of drawing a fake route.

Why did capture keep running after I parked?

DriveQuality uses stop detection, cooldown checks, and CarPlay hold behavior. If the app remains recording after a true stop, open the app and use the manual stop fail-safe, then contact support with the approximate drive time.

Does DriveQuality use my data for insurance?

No. DriveQuality is not an insurance rating, legal rating, medical rating, crash predictor, or guaranteed safety product.

Does DriveQuality track me for ads?

No. DriveQuality is not designed to use driving data for third-party advertising tracking.

How do I delete my data?

Contact privacy@drivequality.app from the email associated with your account if one exists, or include your device/account support details from the app support sheet.

App Review notes

The app creates an anonymous device account on first launch. No fixed demo login is required for normal review unless a seeded replay account is specifically needed.
